How To Make A Bacon And Fennel Cabbage Slaw Salad
Start with fresh ingredients. I always buy organic produce when it is available.

Start by cooking 2-12 oz packages of bacon. Set aside and let cool.
In a large bowl add 12 oz of the broccoli slaw salad.

Next cut the green cabbage in calf and remove the core.

Then, thinly slice 2 cups of the green cabbage and then cut in half for smaller pieces. Add to the broccoli slaw in the glass bowl.

Cut the red cabbage in half and remove the core.

Thinly slice 2 cups of red cabbage and add it to the bowl.

Next, chop up 2 cups of fresh fennel and add it to your bowl with the other ingredients.

Peel 1 cup of carrots. Add them to the bowl.

Cut up your cooled bacon and add it to the bowl.

Add 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of black pepper, 1 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/c olive oil and 1/4 cup of red wine vinegar to the bowl. Mix well.

For an extra touch of deliciousness, my family and myself love to add a fried egg to the top of
this salad!

You’ll love the crunch along with the savory taste of the egg! You can serve this as
a side dish or as a main course meal. Enjoy!
